Event Coordinator

SUMMARY

Under the general direction of the Director of Marketing, this position is responsible for the documentation and implementation of casino marketing promotions. This includes, but is not limited to, compliance submissions, the technical set-up of promotions, validation that promotions are running as expected, and communications routed through the Director of Marketing to operational partners for the successful execution of each marketing promotion. The Event Coordinator will be required to provide analysis and feedback to the Director of Marketing to provide for a better understanding of expected expenses and related revenues; development and approval of the final structure of Casino Promotions will remain the responsibility of the Director of Marketing. The goal of the position is to attract new customers as well as maintain and retain existing customers. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associates Degree plus a minimum of one (1) year experience in planning and developing events. Bachelors Degree preferred. Casino experience preferred, with knowledge of CMP & MGT or other similar systems. Must have a minimum of an intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables), Word, and Outlook. Business Skills to include writing, statistics and project management. Must meet all knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be twenty-one years (21) of age or older. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license. Navajo preference.
